A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i'm 16 and in high school. ok heres my problem, i like this guy but he likes his ex-girlfriend and he only likes me as a friend. theres this other guy who likes me but i dont like him at all. the guy who likes me wants to set me and the guy i like up. so we made a plan that me, the guy i like, the guy who likes me, and 2 more friends are going to hang out. while hanging out everyone will leave so its just me and the guy i like. i'm really nervous, but i also feel a little bad because i'm trying to get him to like me when he likes someone else. plus i'm nervous because what if he finds out the plan. i really need help, i dont know if i should go along with the plan or it i should just not do anything. but if i dont do this plan i dont know how to get the guy i like to like me because i really like him.

I read that in the voice of vicky pollard somehow. Its far to complicated for me to understand but if it dont work you could allways try asking him out.

He likes his ex, and sees you as a friend and that is it. It's going to hurt, but you're not going to get him. This plan will fail because he simply isn't over his ex and doesn't fancy you. Sorry.
