 I live in Macholand, where people don't really like gay persons and any exchange between males that is not a kick in the balls and five insults per second is grounds to suspect you're gay. So, I have a bias in determining where friendship ends and where romantic interest begins.
From the looks of it, however, he's into you. If he did this where I live, everyone would know he's gay, too.
