Question - (21 April 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 21 April 2011)
A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hey so I want to know if this guy likes me. This might get kind of long, but I really have to know.

So I will call the guy "Bob"

I will call another girl who also has a crush on Bob "Sandra"

Part 1:

Okay so I always thought that Bob was hot. We sit next to each other in a class. One day in December, we had to trade and grade papers. Bob and I were joking around and every time I got a question wrong he would put a huge smiley face next to it. We were getting kind of loud when Sandra goes "That's (teasing me about getting things wrong) Bob's way of flirting with you." I replied "It was weak." I didn't mean it I just didn't want to show how much I liked this boy especially since he was sitting right there. I started like really blushing and went to go sit back down. Bob scooted closer to me and was pressing his leg to mine.We pretty much talked and joked around for the rest of the semester.

Part 2:

When the semester ended, we changed seats. I know longer sat next to Bob. We did not interact for 6 weeks (the grading period). The last day when we sat together was the first day of the new semester. We had a couple of new classes. Bob was in one of my new classes. I had forgotten something about the supplies needed for my new class which was Speech. I asked Bob about the thing I had forgotten. Bob kept denying the fact that we are in the same class.

Part 3:

At the start of the grading period, we changed seats again and I once again sat next to Bob. Initially, he ignored me and turned his back on me and sat far away on the edge of his chair and never looked at me. Eventually we started talking again. We had a lot of fun and joked around. Once, I touched his hair and he turned red and got this weird look on his face. Now, we are doing this totally different thing where we are in teams. We have been doing this for about 4 days. Bob and I have not talked for 4 days.

Just a few other points I wanted to talk to you about.

Once, Bob and I were waiting alone outside. Nobody else was there. He looked kind of freaked out and ran inside.

Bob once asked Sandra how he looked...According to one of my friends, that is "major." I was wondering, is it really major?

Last month, Bob and I were on the same team for an academic competition. When we were walking to the testing room, Bob was standing really close to me. We didn't say anything but it seemed like he really wanted to be near me.

One last thing. I grade Bob's papers. I once drew a heart on his paper and his voice got weird and he was like "A heart? Really?"

I know I have probably bored you to death with my story, but I am seriously confused. Please, please help me. Does this boy like me or not? Is he just being friendly? What does his behavior mean? What about Sandra? Thanks for reading. It really means a lot. I'm looking forward to reading your answers.
