A few weeks went by where we just talked and finally we got together and everything went great... She is really really freaked that im 22 and i dont think she really takes me serious. It did bother me at first the age difference but now it is long gone and i love him more. We are engaged to be married. Let her come round to the age gap and it should work out. If you really were hitting it off before she found out about your age, there is a good chance she might come round and get over the age difference thing. After all, seven years isn't such a big gap at your age. I do have to admit that I've never really been able to hit it off with younger women. It gets a bit tiring if every few minutes you have to explain something like who John Cooper Clarke was (see, you didn't know without Googling, did you?).

awww. I went through the same thing when I hooked up with someone younger than me for the first time. I'm 26 and he was 21 and I had always been with older guys before him, so I kind of freaked out because was so much younger but it's just something I went through for a little while and I eventually realized that age doesn't really matter that much. It's the person that counts. Give her time and just show her that you are mature enough to handle an adult relationship. She'll take you serious when she sees that you are serious.
