My girlfriend of 8 months and I always joke around with each other (hence our many problems of me taking a joke too far) and sometimes we are..playful about leaving the other for someone else. (Obviously this wouldn't happen and we both make it obvious that we're kidding.) But lately if we even lightly talk about it my gf will be like "I'll have a new girlfriend in a week." and that sort of hurt my feelings because she started talking about other girls who she has had feelings for in the past. I am almost certain that she loves me. But she also said "Just don't think you're special." and that hurt too. I mean, I hope I'm important to her. I tthink I am, she acts like a hard ass a lot.  If you have a joke type relationship maybe she thinks you won't take what she's saying seriously and if you are, you need to tell her so she's aware not to say such harsh stuff in the future. Definitely talk about this though.
