We were meant to be 'friends' but I never made effort to contact her after the relationship ended as if hurt and I was crestfallen about it (she suggested just being friends).Anyway, she got in touch, asked how I was etc...and I get the feeling she was keeping tabs on me via Internet and so on. She suggested we go away on holiday together, but said she had hit financial difficulties and might Not be able to go away after all, but invited me for a local few days away with her friends.what do you think?

 Proceed with caution. You are opening yourself up to be hurt and crestfallen again but sometimes that's the chance you have to take. Is there any way to ask her about her intentions toward you? That might be helpful.
