writes: are these signs of physical attraction on my guy friend's behalf? sorry if it's a long post but I'm so confused!-we were standing facing each other, talking and I realized that he was holding my hand, I haven't even noticed when he grabbed it. it must have lasted a few seconds. then we said goodbye and I unintentionally squeezed his hand before I let go. he squeezed back immediately-I asked for a hug (long story), which he happily agreed to. it was our first hug (one arm up, one arm down, hands on the upper back) but happened to be more tight, warm and long than I thought it would be, around 10 seconds I guess? before disengaging from his embrace I stroked his back, cause that's how I hug friends. after a little while he also stroked my back, real gently. coming out of that hug, we held both of the others' hands (again I don't remember initiating this), releasing them slowly while looking into each others' eyes. it felt a tad intimate so I looked away-when sitting next to each other in front of my pc (he was there to explain something to me) we were sat quite close, shoulders almost touching. whenever he looked at me he was looking not only in my yes but glanced at my lips and my face and hair as well. at a given moment he even leaned towards me so close that i dared not to look him in the eye-goodbye is usually kiss on the cheek accompanied by him sliding the hand from my elbow to the wrist Reply to this Question Share |

Well it seems to me that he wants to take the friendship to the next level. None of my guy friends have ever taken my hand when talking to me, so that's a sure sign. Good luck! :)

He’s either very attracted to you, or just exceptionally tactile for a friend. The question is what do you want to do about it? If you’re attracted to him and would like to take things further, don’t try and second-guess him, tell him how you feel and ask if he feels the same. If you’re not interested, carry on as usual and if he does make a move let him down gently.
