I suggested that he come over so we can work on a computer project together after our next group outing, and he agreed. I can't tell if he wants to date me or just wants to be friends. He's a few years older than me, which might affect his feelings. Should I pretend like I'm not interested or show him that I am?

If you're interested in him, you should show him so. I think you should always give love a try.
