Does he want me to call, or was it just a closing line?

After a date, if a guy says ' Ok well give me a call later or something'... do you think they actually want you to call them, or could it just be a closing line??

shouldnt the guy call the girl?? :S

Entirely Unique agony auntThat's a hard one because it could be one of either but normally the closing line is 'I'll call you later' therefore they then can control the not calling if that's what they really want.

I'd take it at face value and call him, it can't hurt and you could only gain from this.

Maybe he wanted to leave the calling up to you to make sure its what you wanted, he could well be abit unsure on how you see him and that would be his way of finding out you're interested.
