 Players generally have some assistance in keeping their chain of available women moving along. The friends ensure the available females are told what he wants them to hear. I think it's part of the bro-code. I'd steer clear for now. Basically, don't believe anything a guy who wants to get into your pants tells you... he has a proven track record. Believe that, not words from his buddies.
