I have reason to believe that (lets say his name is James) James likes me but I am not sure, please help. We have math together and I often catch him glancing over at me. I was with my best guy friend and James walked up and started talking to my bgf and I. Then I was standing with my group of friends and he stood beside me and started talking with them, then I walked away with my friend bcuz she had to tell me. When I was gone he was trying to find out if I was going out with anyone. I was walking up the hall and he walked up to me asking if I was going if I was going out with my BGF bcuz there was a rumor we were going out, I assured him that we weren't and James asked why and I said "because he is just not bf material" then james put his arm around me and said "he is a nice guy give him a chance" I said "I don't like him" then I stopped at my classroom and he went to his locker and just was dreamily staring at me. Does he like me, or is James trying to hook me up with my BGF? Reply to this Question Share |

He is.. testing the water, he wants to know if you and your best guy friend will ever be more than just 'friends'. He doesn't want to ask you out as yet, because he wants to know the full story, basically, he is protecting himself from hurt or looking foolish. Asking you to give the BGF a chance and then your reaction of 'no' then you going into your classroom and he looks at you in a dreamy 'fancying' way gave him the answers he wanted. The question is, do you like 'James'?
