writes:Well the other day my boyfriend, me, his ex wife, her two kids, and the one child they share went and played frisbe golf which was fine but it was soooo hectic with 3 hyper-active kids and then i felt really awkward it felt like i had a chaperone with us on a date. i felt reluctant to give him a hug a kiss or even hold his hand. i dont have a problem with it its just over whelming......how do i deal with it? im only 21 and hes 40 i can handle one kid but all three is a little too much......

reader, anonymous, writes (24 February 2011): Don't feel bad about it. It sounds like you're not ready to settle down yet, and that's okay-- you're 21 and have lots of time and lots of things to experience. I would look for a guy closer to your age, who's not tied down with kiddies and an ex.
