reader, anonymous, writes (19 January 2007): He probably does like you, however, moving to live nearer you when he finishes bootcamp is a huge step at his age. Anyway, isn't he going to be in the army, marines, or whatever once he's out of bootcamp?
If I were you, I would enjoy this for what it is - and you could always ask him - but I wouldn't pin too much hope on it.......perhaps you can date others who live closer.

 If he is saying he will move down/up to be with you then he must do, to behonest you look to be both a little young for such a move.
Actions do however speak louder than words, ask him to be honest with you.
If he keeps side stepping the issue maybe you are best rid of him.
