A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I don’t know how my best friend feels about me but when I don’t see him after school it breaks my heart because talking to him is the only thing I look forward to. He always makes fun of me playfully if I say something wrong and he says that im dumb but I just give it back to him and tell him that he’s a nerd and he laughs at everything I say. When we talk he always looks in my direction and when the suns behind me and he’s looking at me then he blocks the sun in order to see me. The little boy on the bus was feeling his sweatshirt and he told him to cut it out and the second time it happened I did it also and he looked at me smiled and said quit it. Every time I touch his arm he smiles and he has been staring lately. I just wish I knew how he felt and I wonder if he feels the same as I do when were not together. I’ve always enjoyed talking to him. Does he ever miss me and how could I tell?

The Realist agony auntI'd say he cares about you alot. He uses the joking instead of being all emotional but it means the same thing to guys.

Sounds like he likes you a lot. You know, there's only one way to find out and that's to talk to him. I bet he does miss you, and he certainly sounds like he adores you attention. So get talking to him and see where it leads.
