A female reader, anonymous, writes (21 January 2007):

Yes, if you are too clingy and sending a lot of emails and phone calls that are not returned, he will (if he hasn't already) run a mile!

You need to let HIM chase you! Its fine to call if you don't hear from him for a couple of weeks or so, but only call or email once and see if he responds. If he does not get in touch after say, another week, you can proceed on the assumption that he is not interested any more.....unless of course he is in hospital; away on a business trip or vacation, or dealing with a family crisis.

You have a life of your own, and a man needs to see that you are getting out and about and not waiting for him......he'll be more interested, that way.

moomoomoo agony auntwhoa, couldnt understand what the first person just said. nothing happens, except maybe you'll appear as "too clingy", and thats something many guys fear.. and it might put them off a little bit. You can overlove a guy but don't show it in clingy ways like "oh my god ur hte perfectest perfect guy ever!" or give him a billion phone calls per day and 10,000 voice message and emails.. you know what i mean. i would suggest just meeting, and expressing all of that "overlove" in the "shorter" time that you are in contact. yeah... so remember not to be too clingy and show that you're too dependent.
