However the weird thing with me is that it used to be black and only changed colour after I started shaving it. Has that happened to anyone else?

 Ha Ha! I like the question! I don't but my hubbie has different colored hair on different parts of his bod too. His hair is brown, his sideburn are blonde and his goatee is red! And not because he dyes it like Billy Connolly!
Think of the advantages you have over the rest of us! I'm sure it's lovely, and you can shape it into a heart for Valentine's Day!
Speaking of which...
I was at a Beauty Supply Show in the US. They had a company called "Ooh Betty" that made hair dye specifically so that your "Collar could match your Cuffs". There slogan was "Is Your Betty Ready?". Too cute!!! LOL!
