 I have heard of some of my parents friends having it done as well as my mom ended up going. I beleive it to be a day long procedure, really it onlt takes like half an hour but you are there all day. Also the males version is much simpler. Other than that I can say it will be uncomfortable to minor pain for a week or two after but there is a very low complication rate and it is very successful. I know I may not be the one you really wanted to reply but I do research alot of medical fact out of interest in a medical proffesion.
