Does alcohol affect the effectiveness of the pill? I got hammered at a party at the weekend and am scared to have sex with my boyfriend just incase?

& drinking doesn't affect it. but taking paracetamol because of a certain ingredient it makes it deactivate until you take your next till.

The Realist agony auntGenerally it does not because the alcohol will not interact with the hormones in your blood stream that are caused by the pill, or any other hormones. I would say that you do not lose any protection because you were drinking. However alcohol can mess with antibiotics or other medication just in case this ever comes up with you.
