A female United States age 36-40, *Lindy87 writes:

hey there! okay, so I started going to this college, and that was last october. The first day I met this guy, lets call him Joey. Joey and I became fast friends, and I got a little crush on him. well time went by and we got closer and closer...as friends. We have considered each other best friends for the last month or two. But then last saturday he came out for my friend's birthday that he has never met. It was just a small group of people but he only knew who I was.

He was extremely nice to my friends, which wasn't anything new as he's a great guy. He bought us all rounds of drinks more then once, which he really didn't need to do but was really nic of him and got along swimmingly with my friends he met that night. I got wayyyyyy too wasted that night and he stayed the entire time and took care of me by helping me walk (I was that gone) and then making sure I had a ride home safe.

During the night we had a talk, I told him I had once had feelings for him when we first met, he took it well and before he could respond, some stranger came up and asked for a smoke. That guy stuck around for like a half hour.

another part of the night joey said i was cute. But, when we were walking to my ride home, him making sure I was okay and sticking around the whole night, i got in my sober ride's car (he lived close to the bars and didn't need a sober ride) and he sent me a text saying "talk to me tomorrow hun" and he has never refered to me as 'hun' before. its always been 'dude'.

another thing to note is that i was telling him I needed to find a job a week before that and he said "well I need a pesonal assistant, you could work for me" (he is a college student, he doesnot need a personal assistant lol) but he insists he does and that he can give me a job.

oh and he suddenly started saying "i love you" jokingly, like teasing me and then when i pretend i'm sad about his teasing (flirtatiously i guess) he goes "aww i'm just kidding,I love you" or I say something not that funny, but witty I suppose and he goes "wow I love you" and i know that some guys are like that and they are just being friendly, but he is not the type to be like that, in fact, he doesn't say that to his other friend girls, although I do know that I'm the closest friend girl he has. He told me that he really only hangs out with his roomie or me.

so i guess what I'm asking, does he seem more like a really nice guy best friend or does it seem like he may be interested? please let me know your opinions. I'm going crazy.
