i thought like we can forget our first love..but as the time passed..i raelize that its a feelings that can never b died..v just get habituated with our current relationshp..but somewhere in our heart that feeling is remaining as it is...and v just behave like we are ok ..v have forgot him or her..but actually. . .v r still there . .still at that unforgettable moment that will never come again in our life. . . .

reader, anonymous, writes (15 May 2009): like almost everyone here has written, it's quite impossible to forget your first love. you can push it at the back of your mind, but it will always be there. ive met my first love and i know, no matter how hard i try or how happy i am with my new love, he will always be special, different, memorable and defining.
as for the question will i ever consider dating him again.. in a heartbeat.

I will always remember my first love. She was a beautiful red haired girl (No I am not Charlie Brown). I am glad to see that I am not the only one who even years (20) later I still have her in the back of my mind. I would not get together with her again if I had the chance. I am married to someone whom I love very much. I would never do anything to hurt that relationship. Some memories never die though.

No, you never really forget your first love. The feelings are so intense and new - how could you possibly forget, bar a nasty case of amnesia??
Would I go out with my first love again? Well... the relationship ended for a reason, as most relationships do. But I probably still have a soft spot for him deep down. Yeah, I'd maybe give him another shot. I'd consider it.

 I remember my first love as if it was like yesterday me and him were magic for a while, we did everything together but one day things began to fall apart he became more distant but he always told me he loves me and would never do anything to hurt me. That was a mistake i believed because i found out the reason he was distant was he was seeing another girl but do you know what i can forgive him as i know he will have to have the guilt with him for the rest of his life so their would be no point makin it worse and beside even now i love him but i would never be able to get involved with him again as he has lost my trust and once that bond of trust has gone then it will never work out.

reader, anonymous, writes (2 December 2007): I doubt that you forget your first love as will be the first time you ever experience those really powerful, overwhelming feeling for someone.
First love happens to everyone and if they break up they seem to get over it alright eventually. . . And move on.
I'm not sure about getting together again.... Hmmm... Well I guess it just depends exactly how strong those first feelings were whether you'd get together again, but I'd say its unlikely.

I would say that no one ever forgets their first love! But now I can't remember who was first --- only kidding! Some loves you might go out with again, others you realized were impossible, and could never really happen. When I went to
my high school reunion a few years ago, I danced with someone who I went out with in high school. Unfortuneately for me, he is now married with three children, but in other circumstances, I think I would've dated him again!

 Whoa! Everyone in their life experiences first love. If its your first true love then i dont think you ever forget about them because love is a feeling that will stick with us til the end. Although you may never see this person again and you have a present relationship, you will never forget this person's name. They will always be in the back of your mind so no, I dont think you could ever forget your first true love. Would i give them a chance you asked? Well i dont see why not. If you truly love a person and if it was meant for the both of you to bump into eachother along the future, then maybe it was meant to be. That is simply my opinion.
