writes: Women do you get wet panties - in a sexual sense - without getting physical? By this I mean without someone physically stimulating you. Several years ago a girl I was friendly with came round to my flat and had a quick shower after work. When she got out she stayed wrapped in just a towel and we sat and watched TV for a few minutes. At one point the towel moved apart and I glanced over and could see very clearly that her virgina was lubricating. This wasn't 'wetness' from the shower; it was sticky and because of the way she was positioned it had dribbled slightly onto her thigh. I didn't comment of course but to this day I've always been curious about how this aspect of a women's body works. For example, do you get wet by seeing a hot guy in the street or having a stranger talking to you and you get turned on by him so much your panties actually get wet. Something like that. Or maybe even watching a steamy movie or reading a book.Forgive my ignorance - and the graphic story (which was needed for context) - but as a man I've always been curious about what happened that evening.Hope someone can help. From seeing a hot guy, no... a woman would have to think dirty thoughts for that to happen.
Watching sexy films, yes.. but a woman would have to think of what's happening in it, it isn't just visual. I usually think of someone who I know for real.

However, it is also entirely possible that it was nothing to do with that. The vagina naturally lubricates itself all the time to keep clean and healthy, so it could easily just be natural female discharge.

More likely just natural vaginal discharge which is not related to anything sexual at all. Just look at all the feminine products out there for discharge and you will realise it is all part of being female!

First of all she must have sat with very wide spread legs for you to catch that glimpse...
And secondly, yes - visual & auditory stimulation works for both MEN and WOMEN in getting aroused.

The active ingredient in many expectorants (helps relieve chest tightness and congestion) is guaifenesin. Guaifenesin can thin a woman's cervical mucus. Also, certain times of the month (usually around ovulation) a woman produces more cervical mucus and vaginal secretions without being aroused.I am in awe that a woman in a towel and in a sitting position managed to 'dribble' enough that you could see it on her thigh. I'm also in awe that she would simply let the towel fall away and present her most intimate parts to you. I think she may have wanted to do a lot more than watch t.v. with you that evening and you were either not attracted to her/women or were too clueless to see that she wanted you to make a move.

I don't think I've had problems with "dribbling" and 'sticky", but yes, I've had a physical response to what I see, and surprisingly what I smell. I've always felt turned on by a really good smelling guy.
What you described, with the stickiness and the dribble down the leg...she might be ovulating, which is some women produces a slight "egg-white" sort of excretion.

Dear OP,
Yes, that sometimes does happen to me. When I watch an erotic movie scene or when I am really really into someone and flirting with them. Or when I think about sex in a very detailed fashion.

She may have had a vaginal infection. Some like bacterial vaginosis can emit a thick discharge which can have an offensive odour, it may have been dislodged from the vagina when she showered.

Do you get a hard on without stimulation?
of course you do.
the most powerful sexual organ we have is between our ears.. it's called a brain.
yes women can and do get wet without physical stimulation if they are turned on.
I'm not sure how you know it was sticky if you could only see it and to be honest I do not find natural lubrication to be sticky nor do I ever see it dripping out of myself or other women since the vagina pretty much collapses on itself when not in use.

I can't count the times that thoughts/books/fantasies have done this for me, and there was no touch involved.
I had a best friend that I was crazy in love with for a while, and he spooned me on the couch for a couple hours while I (tried not to) kiss(ed) his neck...let's just say that that minimal, tantalizing contact was MORE than enough for this girl.
In short, yes, she can get wet from tons of things. There's usually some conscious turn-on for a woman, though, while from what I understand of men, they can get hard while feeling comfortable, happy, and non-sexual.
