So I'm a 14 year old girl and I want to know... do guys from 14 to 17 years old like "it" shaved? I am too young to go that far, but I'm really curious about it! And I want to be ready in case "something" happens!

Thanks!

eelizabethh(: agony auntI'm 15 and I know from experience that guys like it shaved!

Although unshaven is so much more comfortable, it also can be prickly and annoying.

Guys like the look of shaven better, it looks sexy.

One thing though, be careful if you ever shave because you may get ingrown hairs which look something like pimples on your vagina. Gross.

I recommend having it waxed. It doesn't hurt as much as you think and it takes longer for the hair to grow back. Also it makes your vagina feel nicer.

sandiego619 agony auntI ahve to agree with TaGGd here. I dont think most guys would mind if youre chaved or not down there. If you want to know what your guy likes si ply ask him. If you dont want to ask him directly then maybe you can hint it around if he would like you to shave down there. For me, the only way ive felt it down there, and it was my first time ever, it was shaved, since i asked my girlfriend if she did and she said yes, but i wouldnt mind either way. Therefore, i dont think it really matters, and if it really does then thats all they may be interested in, playing with you there. But thats just My opinion.

person12345 agony auntMost of the time I keep mine trimmed and shave the bikini line, but leave a "landing strip" on the front and around the actual sensitive bits and I've never had any complaints.

Not My Name agony auntGotta say I just get pissed off with men and their pubic preferences.

Too much, not enough, want it all on, want it all off, even fussing over what little designs they want a landing strip in. Drives me nuts - yet turn around and start making requests about what they have going on down their to show them how fussy and annoying they are being and they think you are asking for the absurd.

It is like we are Mrs Potatoe Head and should just interchange the accessories every time another one comes along and likes something different.

Stuff em, do what ever you like and that makes you comfortable. Men should just get over it!

Apologies to those men who dont fall in to this fuss pot catagory :-)

... Personally, i trim and once every couple of months or on special occasions i'll get a runway done.

.. Although my man loves my vah-jay-jay either way!!:-P

.... Cleo and Cosmo have done countless polls and articles on the subject. And the verdict?? ..

.... Guys dont mind either.. I think they're just glad that they even have the chance!xXx

A reader, anonymous, writes (14 December 2009):

Honey, you should not be thinking this way in case "something happens". You have the right to be "in control" of your own body, in fact you have a responsibility to be in control.

Don't aspire to be the school slut. Aspire to be the girl who is ready in case something happens to make her a smarter student, a leader in her school or has the opportunity to take on a special assignment that was earned through accomplishment. Accomplishment will give you more joy than inconsequential sex any day.

Sex is not something that should "just happen" to you. It should be something you are emotionally, physically and financially ready for. Your body is your most precious, most intimate part of you, do not treat it as an opportunity for some boy to use as a physical release.

Sex is so much more. It is the union of two people who are mature in love, complete adults ready to give their hearts and souls and minds to another.

This is not something you should take lightly or banter about with your friends. It is a personal choice that only you can make. So make it with some earnestness and foresight, not a mentally and lazy character,,,,do guys like it shaved down there just shows your lack of thought and character. Work on both and you will be far ahead in the game of life.

Take care of you!

Our bodies have hair for a reason- to absorb odor. Leave it there for now. If you are with someone who prefers it shaved and you are willing to do so, then at that time you or he may. Some en like it shaved and others do not. Right now it is in "style", but this will come and go with time.

Some guys do. Some don't care. I'm a girl, 17, and I shave. But I have been doing it since long before I ever thought about being with a guy simply out of personal preference. I don't like being hairy. The guys I have been with have liked that I shave.
