Why do you think rock stars have hordes of groupies? That guitar solo, the chicks can't resist it. I'll tell you, my Dad is a world renowned guitarist and I have always been absolutely DISGUSTED with the women that drape themselves shamelessly over him. I'm not revolted at their turn on, of course - just the fact that they're all up on my DAD. *throws up, runs back to therapist office*

But that's not weird at all ! Apparently , it is a turn on shared by approx. 28% of women, according to two studies conducted one in France by Universite' de Bretagne and the other in Israel by Tel Aviv University.
It would add evidence to the sexual selection theory of music - that music originally evolved from courtship rituals and it is strongly related to mating.
Yes but why a guitar is often seen as sexier than other instruments ? Well, it's a long and complicated story , to make it as short as possible : a) subliminal images ( what does remind you a long rigid shaft firmly planted into a rounder larger shape with a hole in it ? :) b ) evolutionary traits- being good with your hands and good at keeping rythm is a desirable evolutionary trait c ) cultural perceptions - inevitably guitar brings up somehow images of rock icons, glamour, succes and fame, - even if you are just in front of the boy next door instead of Eric Clapton.

That's why I learned to play the guitar. Lol. That's completely normal.

Different people like different things! There's no problem with that. You must just have a strong association with music and sex- which a lot of people do.
Mine? Certain types of incense just get me going. I don't know what it is, maybe a subconscious thing with my olfactory system. Who knows!
No turn-on is really strange, barring the sort that can cause someone else harm mentally/physically/emotionally. Like what you like and have fun with it!
