Hi
Both men and women have sex for the sake of it, the need to be intimate, the release of pent up frustrations. If 2 adults are in the same situation and consent, I really cannot see a problem with it.
If some man or woman 'uses' a person under the pretence of wanting more or a relationship then thats different, its misleading somebody and its morally wrong.

Not all guys take advantage of women, but those who do can only take advantage of women who don't respect themselves. If a woman doesn't respect herself, no reason for a narcissistic amoral horny guy to respect her.

Well of course that happens, all the time and everywhere. But in my life, if a woman agreed to sexual favor, I was always open for more - and to see if there was possibility for a relationship. Often, there was, even if it began with a so-called "one night stand." Please understand that I'm an older man now in my sixties, so I experienced the "sexual revolution" of the 1960s-70s.
That was a wild time - prior to the HIV scare - and also, part of that time, I lived in Hollywood. So yes, there were many one-night-stands just for sex, but I really wanted an ongoing relationship. Some lasted months or years. Eventually, late in the 1970s, I found one that endured 20 years of marriage - but it started with a one-night-stand.

yeah most men have sex and then fall asleep. hence even though they didn't intend to sleep with the woman they do so anyway.probably if you stop him falling asleep by talking to him he will go home

Yes, lots of people have sex with other people for the point of having sex. It's ego more than physical pleasure.

There are lots of people, men and women, heterosexual and homosexual, who have sex simply for the gratification it brings them, and without the beer goggles!
A male friend once told me having sex with a woman he didnt feel emotionally attached to was just like shaking hands, it meant nothing. Others refer to sex for ses sake as scratching an itch.
The practice seems more acceptable now, no longer do girls and women feel they have to convince themselves they are in love before they have sex with somebody, and I heard of a (just turned) 14 year old girl having a "fuckbuddy".
Being a bit old fashioned I don't approve, but I feel I am one voice against a tide of mainstream media who dress little girls up as sexual objects to sell their products, kids can see the act of sex without love on the TV in their family living room and nobody bats an eye, parents put adult styled clothing on their toddlers and tell them they look sexy!
How do we stop this stuff? I don't have the answer.

Yes, women do this too. It's called a one night stand and it's purely for sex.

I'm afraid there are men that do this, yes. Quite a lot. Sometimes you can see through them, other times it's harder. That's why you have to take your time getting to know a man. Over a longer period of time, you can judge someone more carefully.
