I myself am a larger lady im a size 18-20 and fairly attractive. I have PCOS so struggle to lose weight I lose some then I gain some which makes me low so I have decided to make myself happy and confident first then deal with the weight issue when I am confident with myself. But I have one male friend in particular who thinks that large women are disgusting dont take care of themselves and sit around all day filling their face which basically is crap!!! I admit I have not got the healthiest of diets I like the occasional bar of choc but I dont over eat.So I would appreciate some sensible comments as to what men really think of us larger voluptuous ladies. Thanks for listening guysx

But there is a fine line between having meat on your bones and being overweight, not trying to sound harsh, just being honest.
Personally i find really large women to be anything but attractive.

Hi
I just wanted to say that I've been on both ends of the spectrum on this...I lost a lot of weight and I could finally wear those tight jeans and half shirts. But thats not all it's cracked up to be eather..
I would be around men who would talk to my chest rather than my face..
men who treated me like public property, always grabbing me and thinking they could talk to me like I didn't have a brain.
I've gained a lot of that wieght back, and now I'm invisible to people, which hurts just as much..
but there are men who love bigger women...My fiancee is a slender guy, extremely attractive, smart..he has his MA...anyway..
He loves my extra weight, says it gives him something to hold onto. that doesn't mean it's healthy tho..
Also, with PCOS it's twice as hard....
anyway, hang in there..there are men who love big women!!!
and as my sister told me when I get down about my weight...those skinny girls are not always better where it counts...Who wants to $%#@ a bundle of sticks?????

I'll have to admit that I'm not turned on by overweight women. I think a lot of guys see heavy women the same way your male friend described them . . . regardless of the reason behind the weight. I've had two friends that were overweight die within the last 5 years. Both were attractive women in many ways (one was a former Miss Virginia pageant finalist). They both had cancer, which may or may not have been directly linked to their weight. But their weight surely didn't help.
You can be happy the way you are, but your health is the most important issue when you talk about excess weight. Obesity and healthy are two words that don't go hand in hand.
I'm sure there are plenty of men out there that like a little more meat on the bone. I'm just not one of them.
Good luck!

I don't find fat chicks attractive.
Yes, they can have pretty faces and flawless complexions (they usually don't) or nice, shiny hair and beautiful "blow me eyes". But for me anyway, the whole package is simply not sexy. Just my opinion.
