I am not tryin to sound like a b*tch and all but you said this lady loves you but i dont think so, if she loved you she wouldnt care what other people think. Friends come and go but true love will be with you as long as you make it last and this lady seems more worried about her friends i would move on and not worrie about her it sounds like she is playing games with your head...move on or tell her if she really loves you that she has to pick you for who you are or pick her friends and just play games with your head...

reader, anonymous, writes (22 March 2007): You're 30-35, so I'm guessing the woman involved is also an adult. If so, she is an extremely shallow and immature one. A grown woman should know better than to dismiss a guy just because some of her friends may not like him. It's her life after all.
I say you find a woman who is more sensible and mature.

reader, anonymous, writes (22 March 2007): this girl, who your in love with, seems very shallow, if all she's concerned about is her friends not liking you, if she really, deeply cared for you, then she'd be with you no matter wat the circumstances are, and not care what other people think. I think it's time to wave bye bye and find yourself someone nicer.
