 Shaving it all off is usually something people only do for a specific purpose, like a girl asked them to or they want to look a certain way naked. That said, most people like to take scissors and trim the hair down so it's a bit shorter and more even looking. It's less itchy, it looks tidier, and it makes everything look bigger so I'm told. Shaving it all off is a pain, literally. A guy friend of mine cut himself, and let's just say he wouldn't put his legs together for a few days. Also, the regrowth will be prickly and SERIOUSLY itchy, and it will require maintenance at least every two days and will generally look except for right when you shave it. So I'd recommend that for now you just stick to scissors.

reader, anonymous, writes (3 January 2010): i'm 25 and all i do is trim to make sure the hair doesn't get too long - i've never had any complaints and personally i like looking like a woman as opposed to a little hairless girl. You were given hair there for a reason - embrace it :)

 If i were you i'd just do your bikini line! Once you shave there is no going back! It prickles and itches the first few times and the hair begins to regrow after a few days. Can you really be bothered?
however if your okay with that then go for it, i did when i was 14 and i still do, however i sometimes think oh god can i really be arsed :| x
