I think I'm falling in love with one of my best mates, Mitch. I see him a lot and I’m always having hugs off him and stuff. But the thing that gets me most is that we got so close yesterday when he came round to go on our trampoline with a couple of other mates. We were playing this game where emi and me had to try and get Mitch and Andy off it and they were trying to get us off. When he held me down it was the first time in a year that iIve trusted a guy like that since I had a big problem with another.

If Andy did it I wanted to scream or cry or something even though I trust him. And with Mitch it's different to any other lad I’ve liked. I feel like I can be myself around him, trust and talk to him. I'm not shy round him like other lads. I miss him when we're not together and it's really weird. I think about him all the time. I really think that I love him. Please help cos I’ve got to spend all day with him on Monday which I’m looking forward to but also dreading. Please help quickly. Thanks.

Suzie767 agony auntYou've got it bad!

You need to find out how he feels.

Just talk to him. Test the water. If his signals show he's into you too go for it!

But be careful cos you dont want to lose a good mate so if his signals show that all he wants is friendship you will have to be happy with that.

You may find that its the best thing that you ever do. Some of the best relationships start with friendships.

meg21uk agony auntIt's great that you can trust this guy and feel safe around him. It sounds like your feelings for him are really strong. If you feel confident enough to talk to him about how you're feeling it would probably make things a lot clearer for you. Even if the answer is that he doesn't feel the same, provided he is a true friend it may make your relationship stronger.

As for love it is difficult to say, emotions can seem really intense when you like someone but love is a process that comes through getting to know someone on a level more than friendship, so all you can do is go for it with him and see what happens.

Hope this helps, good luck
