writes:I was with my ex for 2 years and some months. I broke it off in october because I didn't want to be with someone who did drugs and drank, although, he was a really good student and was becoming a border patrol to support both of us while I'm a junior in high school and he a freshmen in college. From October to January he tried getting me back. In march I went to a concert he was at and he kept staring at me. Now, in may, I heard he was over me. He sometimes goes to where I work and last time he went I hadnt seen him in a long time and we just smiled at each other. I told my friend to tell him to give me my iPod I gave him back and when he did, my friend told me my ex will give it back to me in person. My friend told me my ex just wants to screw with my head. I wanted to go back with him but have I lost my chance? Now, whenever my friends bring me up, he just starts saying he doesn't care or about me or anything. what should I do? Do I have a chance to be back with him or not?

Well i would say instead of talking to your friends talk with him about it instead. But i must ask why you would want to go back to someone that drinks and does drugs despite the fact he wants to support you? I mean maybe if he cleaned up his act but in my opinion you are almost setting yourself up... You are only in highschool and dont need to surround yourself with negative influences especially if its excessive. He is young too and maybe he just doesnt know how to be in a relationship or is just enjoying his youth? I would advise you to really consider everything before you put yourself into that situation once again.
