I have a natural dark brown shade really dark and sometimes I wonder what it would be like to dye my hair a different colour or even a little lighter. I've thought about going black before and I've had thoughts of a slight tinge of red as well as just lightening it up a bit.. but do guys really like girls dying their hair? What do they prefer..and if so do they like black hair..what colours of hair stand out?? x Reply to this Question Share |

I usually prefer women wearing their natural hair, but sometimes, when a women suddenly dyes her hair into a fantasy color, it is a turn on for me.

My boyfriend has never complained about my hair colour and I am constantly dying it. Naturally its a dark brown colour, but when i bleached it blonde i seemed to get a lot of attention. One boy told me it looked nice but he prefered my hair red and my boyfriend liked it when i dyed it purple. So i really don't think they do mind. If you want to colour your hair then you should just do it for yourself and not just to try and impress a guy :)

He says I'm a natural beauty and it seperates me from the rest of the girls who follow this idea of what beauty is yet it is fake. He loves me for the real me I guess :). Also, my hair is in really great condition, there are so so many dangerous chemicals in hair colours. It's also kind of a trap. My sister used to get some gentle hight lights, they were lovely. But then she started getting bolder with bleach, dark black, red etc. She really wants to grow out her natural hair colour but unlike the highlights, it's pretty much impossible for her as it is so so noticeable and she has rather long hair!.... So for now, she has to continue colouring it.
If your really desperate, you could try a wash in wash out colour and decided if its worth it. Or you could use a natural method such as henna. I used to use a blonde henna shampoo by a brand called "Henera" and I loved it. It lightened my hair gradually, with a natural shade, and without damaging it!
Hope this helps :)

Hey, this is way to subjective for a straight, pat answer. Unless you get a massive response and are then able to count up what the majority answer is, you may just have to settle for my generalized answer.
Personally, I have never been attracted to only one particular hair color. Generally though, I have been involved mostly with redheads and brunettes. But being blonde has not stopped me, natural or not.
Are you trying to attract "guys" or just one guy? Do what makes you feel attractive, and you are more likely to attract your type of guy.
(By the way, my wife dies her hair, I even help her sometimes, and I think she is great looking either way. She does it for herself).
