writes:i wonder if guys like skinny girls more than chubby or fat ones?like one day it was this guy and he was in the restaurant sitting down then he will look at all the skinny girls and say hi and stuff.but when a fat girl went pass he didnt say anything. but laughed and she really wasnt that fat or she wasnt ugly and i think guys should start not looking at the way they look but for who they are. reader, anonymous, writes (17 August 2009): well, I don't find skin and bone really attractive, nor a whole lot of blubber because I wouldn't want them being unhealthy. and I wouldn't date someone just because they are cute, they need to have the same interests as me and such. but if it was a fat or skinny girl with a super nice personality, I would so go out with them. My father married an overweight woman because he liked her for her personality, not her looks

Listen sweetheart, girls judge guys exactly the same way. Do you find yourself more attracted to skinny, average, chubby or fat guys? Also, as for "guys should start not looking at the way they look but for who they are"... The guy you speak of didnt even know any of the girls walking past in the restaurant so how would he know who they really are?
I've seen really gorgeous girls who have turned out to have really shallow and ugly personalities, whereas I've had quite average looking girls absolutely captivate me with their cheeky, fun loving personalities, etc. Being fat or obese isnt attractive, it shows that the person doesnt respect their body and therefore doesnt respect themselves, so it doesnt exactly entice you to respect them now does it?
However having a bit of puppy fat certainly shouldnt matter to any guy who is mature or has honorable intentions. If you've ever looked at old nude paintings you'll notice that there are many nude women with a bit of extra puppy fat. The reason being that in those days if a woman was skinny then she was most likely malnourished and less fertile, whereas a larger woman was beautiful, healthy, well-fed, fertile etc.. you get the picture.
These days if a woman is overweight it could be seen that she's been disrespecting her body, (junk food, no exercise etc.), whereas a skinny woman could be seen as respecting her body, eating healthy, working out etc.. Of course most of the time thats not true and its can just as easily be in reverse, (skinny girl puking after meals, etc.) but what can you do, life aint fair. Just dont judge a guy for judging on looks when everybody else does... atleast until personality gets a chance to shine through.

One word about that guy JERK! He has no right laughing at someone because of there size! It is people like him that cause girls to become anorexic and bulumic, and for girls to have extremely low self esteem! I am not exactly skinny but i would rather be skinny and have boobs and i bum then look like a lolly pop! I do go to the gym and diet to loose weight but that is just to stay healthy, somebody that sits and pervs at woman he likes the look of and laughs at ones he doesnt sounds like an absolute ***t and doesn't deserve the time of day!

 Laughing at someone cause they don't fit a personal preference is shallow. When you get older, seems as if looks aren't as important. Such as finding a long term partner. It's not going to last if you only have someone to look at. It's important to have someone to carry a conversation with and who has similar interests.

Luckily girls don't do anything of the sorts and look only at what a guy really is. That is why boybands are all about music and not about looks.
Looks matter no matter how much we like to pretend they don't and if a person's taste run towards skinny, you can talk all about personality but personality don't have to jiggle.
But take a real hard look around you, plenty of chubby and even fat people who are happy together.
In real life, most of us end up with someone who both like to be with and like to look at. Proof me wrong, date a geek.
