But we only see each other maybe twice a week, and in between times, I have my moments of feeling horny and needing a quick release, so, like I have since I was a teenager, I log on and find some internet porn to jerk off to. My question is, over time, do guys who use porn maybe 3-4 times per week like me somehow get immune to it? I used to have favourite videos that would get me off within minutes, but now, I don't have to same response, and actually, when I'm looking at a lot of the videos, I don't feel excited at all. Do guys generally find the excitement wears off? Does it lead to needing to watch more and more kinky stuff?? My sex life with my gf remains red hot, btw, she still sends me over the edge easily!!Thanks.

I think that you are just fed up watching all these porn movies. They no longer have any effect on you and it's good. Porn movies distort everything. Sex in real life is very different from what you see in porn movies and I'm sure you know it very well.

Like person12345 said, you're probably becoming desensitized. The best thing to do is lay of the masturbation and encourage your girlfriend to do it. That way you get used to and turned on to her touch and her touch alone and crave it like no other.
LAY OFF THE PORN! It's so highly dramatized that men think all girls will have screaming orgasms or will be turned on in 5 seconds. It doesn't work that way (at least not often).

Yes, this is a fairly occurrence for regular porn users, a desensitization. Sometimes it doesn't impact anything, but sometimes it can lead to things like erectile dysfunction, an inability to get off on normal sex and normal women, or other negative things. You might want to consider laying off the porn for awhile. This website has a lot of really good information on this subject:
