I dont think its a case of clogging up the pipes, it is where the condom will end up once it enters the sewage system that causes the problems. Think on a bigger scale - if everyone did this what would happen?
You have to remember that anything non-degradable or water soluble, ie condoms, tampons etc will not rot down at the sewage plant, and will have to be processed out - this can lead to them being discarded in waste water, somemtimes into the sea (do you want to see condoms floating when you go swimming) or put onto fields etc. It happens.
Just have a thought for everyone else in this world. Wrap it in tissue and pop it in the bin. Simples!

Just hide it in your room somewhere? There's a danger of clogging up the pipes! They advice nothing else but toilet paper in the toilet, and even if you have too much toiletpaper in it can clog the pipes up.

They do advise not to flush them but to wrap and bin them but I've been flushing them on and off for years with no ill-effect to the plumbing!

It wont clog the pipes, but it is bad for the environment. If you flush to many it will clog them eventually. If you are worried about your parents finding out, wrap them in a sanitary towel. But try not to flush them again, it does say on the packet to put them in a bin.

As long as you've wrapped it in tissue, it should be fine.
