Even if you only really need them in the classroom or at the movies, go ahead and leave 'em on all the time and you'll soon discover that us guys will notice you before the other girls. What's really sexy is when a girl is wearing her clear glasses with her bathing suit at the beach or around a swimming pool.

Definately in some cases. Some women look really attractive and intelligent in glasses. As long as they suit your face / personality.

Woah, yeah! I love 'em!Want to feel empowered? Do a Google search for "girls in glasses" and click on images. This works best if you have safe search switched off - that's not the "smutty results", just the normal correct results without any puritan censorship. Right - see how many of the results are smut? Why do you think that is? Because guys have a thing for girls in glasses.Get your look right, girl, and you'll be surrounded by a puddle of men, melting at your feet.

In fact, I have to literally fight them off on a Saturday night becuase all the women in the pub want a piece of me. I could probably find myself in a lot of trouble with a lot of husbands because I'm so desirable. It's a shame that I have to tell all these women that I'm spoken for, but I do thank them for their interest, so there's no hard feelings, and their husbands usually buy me a pint in appreciation for not taking their wives away from them and showing them what a real man is made of.
Sometimes it almost hurts to be so modest.

I know a lot of guys who like girls with glasses, I know a lot who don't. For the most part it doesn't much matter I'd have to say. The girls who are getting boyfriends aren't because they don't have glasses, and having glasses isn't and won't prevent you from having a boyfriend. If they like you enough to want to be your boyfriend the glasses won't be a deal breaker, even if their preference is for girls who don't wear them.
But you really shouldn't feel any pressure about age. A lot more people than you probably realize don't have boy or girlfriends for a very long time, and not having one by 15 is not at all something to be worried about. Start in a relationship based upon whether you like the person, not some idea of a time line you should be adhering to.

I wear glasses myself. I can tell you that, depending on the frame you choose, of course, glasses can add tremendously to a girl's appeal. Don't worry about your wearing glasses. Think of it this way: people sometimes wear glasses to look more attractive. You can do that as well.

Well, as a girl I'm not sure whether I can respond all too accurately. But you can definitely be attractive with glasses. And not having a boyfriend by age 15 isn't really a big deal, either; in a lot of ways, rushing to have relationships when you're young just because everyone else is having them is just detrimental to you. Relax and have a bit more confidence. I'm sure all will be well. :)
Although, if you do feel self-conscious or so about your glasses, look into getting contacts. I myself wear them over glasses, mainly out of convenience. (actually, I sort of like how I look in glasses better. :P) But there's nothing wrong with glasses.
Hope I helped. :)

Attractive? It is its own fetish!
There are a LOT of different frames out there, try them out at the shop. What you might want to do if you can't see yourselve from a distance in the mirror, is to take a camera along (digital is offcouse best) and have someone else photograph you so you can see how it looks from a distance. Remember, it is a fashion item and one you will be wearing constantly so take your time picking out the right one. Some shops offer a two for one deal so you can pick the one that best suits what you are wearing.
With modern glasses it should be possible to get an attractive frame. On the whole, I doubt it is an issue.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2008): Despite the saying that "Boys don't make passes at girls that wear glasses", I find that todays spectacles can be extremely attractive. Only this evening I met a woman in the pub who wore glasses but that didn't mean I didn't find her attractive. Quite the opposite. If she offered me the chance I'd slip her a crippler without too much thought if I wasn't otherwise attached.
You'll find your soul mate soon enough, and wearing glasses has no bearing on it whatsoever! At the age of 15 you've got plenty of time left ahead of you to find Mr Perfect. He's looking for you too - and sooner or later you'll bump into each other.
