To describe it as discharge would be misleading as I can feel it come out and a lot comes out, like I have to run to the bathroom immediately to ensure it doesn't start running down my legs. Occasionally I get it after sex but it also occurs up to a few days after sex, like the next day or even the day after at random times. It's really annoying and inconvenient as I get paranoid as to when it will happen. I don't really know what to do...

If its right after sex, it sounds like it could be semen. I'm not sure about the other times when you say it takes a few days. You might want to see your doctor.

It's probably nothing but an exam with the gyn is a good idea.
wear a panty liner if you are concerned about that much discharge.
women's discharge is tied to your menstrual cycle and is heaver around ovulation.

Honestly it doesn't sound worrisome, but you should get it checked out by your gynecologist. Until then wear panty liners and keep a calendar of when it happens. It could be a hormonal thing, as your discharge can vary a lot depending on where you are in your cycle.
If it's happening immediately after or shortly after sex and you're not using condoms, it could be semen.
