Did I put my foot in by telling him I liked him?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

The other day I text my crush/friend that I had a little crush on him. When I text him he actually answered one of my questions for once but after that he didn’t text back. I went to the movies with my friends and his brother and all throughout that time his brother was staring AND SMILING AT ME! Not a creepy smile but it was like a nice smile. The brother always wanted to know what I had to say and listened to me. We had fun together.

I have no idea whats going to happen now that I told him how I really feel though. Do you think it was right for me to tell him? My dad says that I never should have told him and he should of told me but I don’t care what they say about him because its me who has to make a choice good or bad not him. I’m relieved that he knows!

Frenzotic agony auntDefinitely a good thing you told him, I mean, hell even his brother is curiously smiling at you...gotta be a good thing!

You should try asking your crush how he feels about you. That or wait and see what happens...but surely you'd want to know what he feels for you?
