It had been building up over a few days, my mouth had been getting tingly after sex and my heart kept speeding. I also kept feeling as though i was forcing myself to breathe. Then after driving myself crazy cleaning my flat from top to bottom i went into panic when i finally relaxed. Now ever since its been feeling as though im forcing my breath and its preventing me from sleeping at night. I know its only cos im thinking of breathing why its happening but when im not busy doing something im worrying about having a panic attack. And its ruining my life! I've become so easily startled lately too, i even jump when a lorry comes past! Does anyone whose suffered from them or knows someone who has know a cure? Reply to this Question Share |

I dont excercise as much as i should do, but have been lately, i find that when im excercising it puts off the feeling of breathlessness and suffocation but then when i sit down my body starts to go into panic mode again...
I do drink one too many cappucinos and cups of tea, ill definitely be cutting them out.
I smoke too much as well, ill try cutting down on that.
I dont drink alcohol often.
I did start taking iron and vitamins a few weeks ago, ill definitely try that again.

I myself used to suffer from panic attacks so I know exactly what you're feeling!! At first I was really embarrassed to let anyone know but after 6 years I finally saw my M.D. and she prescribed Paxil. That worked wonders for me! And seeing a psychologist once every 2 weeks helped too. There are a number of treatment options out there to help you, you just have to ask. I've been taking my meds for 7 years now and I haven't had one since.
