(He did not finish inside me but I was still worried). My last period was May 31st but I had 4 days of bleeding (more than just spotting) starting on the 9th of June after the plan B. I know this is normal but why have I still not gotten my period? I took 4 pregnancy tests since the day I was supposed to get my period using the first urine of the morning and they all are negative. Can Plan B really cause me to be this late? Did the bleeding I had count as a period aka should I be counting the days since June 9th? Thank you for any help.

I wouldn't say it has horrible effects! It just sometimes delays your period. It's literally exactly the same as a birth control pill, it's not some scary mystery voodoo drug.
But anyways, I'm glad you're starting the pill and can have a little more peace of mind. Remember to never take plan B in addition to the pill because as said before, you'll just be doubling up on the same drug and that's not good for you.

I got pregnant after using Plan B within 48 hours of unprotected sex, so I am proof that it can happen! All you can do is wait until it's time to take a test, if you still don't get your period.

Plan B is a high dose birth control pill, literally that is all that is in it. Those hormones can absolutely mess with your cycle. I have taken Plan B a couple times because I rely on condoms and it messes up my period absolutely every time. Try not to worry!
Also if he didn't finish inside you, I don't really see how it would be possible for you to be pregnant?
You should talk to your doctor about getting on a more reliable method if possible.

Yes it can effect your period and make it late, and with you worrying and stressing about it as well will only make it later. If you are a worrier then really you should be going to your doctor and talking to him about a more reliable birth control method. Also remember to use condoms as well so you are protected from any STI's.

I don't know much about Plan B either, but I am guessing it is some type of hormone or alters your hormones to prevent the pregnancy. Taking a drug like that could alter your cycle a bit. When I was on birth control pills, my periods were always messed up. Is there a women's health clinic you could call to ask questions about this? The only other thing you could do is find some sites online to see how the Plan B pill effects others. If that doesn't ease your mind, you may want to make an appointment with a doctor to make sure you are ok. If you have taken three pregnancy tests and they are all negative, I am guessing you are not pregnant, but there is only one sure way to find out and that is to see a doctor.

I don't know much about plan B but worry and stress can also make a period late....
If you are that worried about it you need to get on a more reliable method of birth control.
