writes:i'm thinking about shaving "down there" but i was wondering... when you're having sex or other forms of sexual contact with a guy, doesn't that kind of hurt him in between days? i'm way too hairy to shave every day (it hurts really bad and i bleed and get horrible razorburn) but that just seems kind of gross to subject my boyfriend to like... vagina stubble basically. it just seems like that would hurt a guy to rub up against, or be extremely uncomfortable at the very least. am i right? and if so, in that case would it be better to just trim it pretty short and not shave at all?

 of course not..why are you worrying soo much, it doesn't hurt him...remmember he has pubic hair tooo, probly more than you..so unless hes shaved clean there's no way your pubic hair can hurt him' gudd luck

it shouldnt hurt that bad. if youre geting really bad razorburn i would stop and just trim or even wax, the hairs grow back much softer and less prikly (with waxing). if it really did hurt him or gross him out that bad he would keep going down there. trim for a week and see what his reactions like. dont get rid of it all just keep it short and neat. if it gets so bad he will say something, good luck babe :]

I've done everything with my GF when she'd had stubble and it didn't hurt me at all. She's sort of in the same boat as you... razorburn etc. if she does it too often. I would prefer it smooth, but meh, it's not THAT big a deal to me personally.
