Could it be that excessive masturbation has somewhat desensitized my penis?

A male Spain age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I can make love for very long periods. I seem to go through periods of arousal, to semi-arousal. The woman I'm with doesn't really complain, but, lately it seems I'm having a problem being completely aroused (fully erect) . One of the reasons may be that I...pleasure myself too much, and have lost some sensitivity there. Its almost like, sometimes its hard to feel anything. Once, she was performing fellatio on me, and while it was amazing, and felt great, to my surprise, my penis was hardly stiff. finally

after about 2 hours, and at least 2-3 orgasms on her part ( mostly through cunnilingus) I was finally able to have one myself. now..I'm taking certain medications for ulcerative colitis (entrecort enema, and imurel)- but could it be that excessive masturbation has desensitized my penis? I really enjoy sex, and am never ever bored...so what could it be? THANKS!

Give Rosie Palm and her five sisters a rest for a week or two bud, and a day or two without sex. You just need to give your penis a vacation. Enjoy a hot tub, loose-fitting boxers, go to a movie and indulge in Cookie Dough bites...get your mind off of sex for a while.

Yeah - too much wanking. You're getting all the sex your body needs at home from Miss Palm and her five lovely daughters, so you don't need any from elsewhere.

Give it a break for a few hours or even days if you can manage it and see if things change.

Danielepew agony auntYes, excessive masturbation is indeed your problem.

A short period without masturbation will help. The medications you're taking are not the problem.
