writes:I Was on the Yaz pill for 2 months straight, I started to take my 3rd pack but in the first week I stopped because they were causing horrible migraines. My period came 6 days later like it normally does because my cycles are regular. Well 2 weeks after I stopped the pill and 1 week after my period started, I had unprotected sex with my fiance 2 days in a row. Has anyone become pregnant while stopping the pill so soon?

I dont take the pill regularly so im not sure, hence why i am asking for feedback not attitudes so keep that sh*t to YOURSELF...THANKS. Everyone else thanks for your input.

If i were you I would check with the Dr. I was having horrible headaches to the point where I couldn't even bend over without almost falling over after two weeks of these headaches I finally said I have to go to the Dr. I went to the emergency room and they told me I was pregnant come to find out I was 3 months and the headaches were my hormones telling my brain to stop my period I was completely shocked. So that maybe why you having those headaches, and you can get pregnant on the pill so the only way to know for sure is to go to the dr.

You were off your pills for 3-weeks and you're not sure if you can get pregnant?!? You can get pregnant ON the pill...it's not 100% effective...c'mon now.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 August 2009): Yeah, didn't your doctor explain it to you? They really should have!! You can take the week of sugar pills and shouldn't get pregnant as long as you've taken the full first 3 weeks of the pill. But any longer than that and you can definitely get pregnant. Or if you forget to take it for just one day, you need to take it for 7 days before having unprotected sex. I can't believe your doctor didn't explain that! I hope you're not pregnant unless you want to be :)

reader, anonymous, writes (7 August 2009): Hi! yes that should be your most firtile time, you may well be pregnant, I know many people who have become pregnant having sex within days of stopping the pill! As soon as your ovaries wake up, you can get pregnant, and for some people, that is as soon as 26 hours after you take the last pill! :) Sorry about that!
