It's loose stool only a bit. It's been going on almost 2 weeks now. And also I think he ate bad nacho cheese the other week. Could it be that he got food poision or stomach issues? Doct doctor doctor. He needs to see a medical doctor. This site can't help with diagnosis on medical matters. He needs professional advice and an examination. Take care.

I know someone who wasn't diagnosed for a year and a half with it and they have had to have part of their bowel removed. Luckily for them it can be reversed and it saved their life but seriously two weeks is too long for food poisoning.

He needs to see a doctor as soon as possible. This type of illness is probably not food poisoning, but only a doctor can order the necessary medical tests to diagnose what ails him.

That's a question for the doctor, not a relationship advice site...but I will agree with the other aunt, it sounds like IBS. My boyfriend has it as well and it can really tear up one's stomach.

While it's possible for food poisoning to last 2 weeks, it's unlikely and could mean that he needs antibiotics to clear it. More likely is that he has a stomach issue like IBS that flared up. Again, he needs to go to the doctor.
