For the first time ever, today, he told me he loves me and he really means it. I'm still nervous to say it back though, I'm worried and unsure. I love him in a best friend way still, how do I tell him that I'm still confused and unsure of how I definitely feel? I don't want to hurt him or send him mixed signals.

Tell him that because you havent been dating that long that you are unsure if love is the right word, as you dont want to rush into things, and you want to wait to make sure that what you feel is true, ect. Hopefuly this doesnt give off the wrong thing. As it is saying that you do like them, but want to make sure, for them :)
