 I once found condoms in my partners travel sack he takes everywhere and was really vexed! But um, they too were expired and had probably been there before me... Relax.

 Yes it could be. Condoms expiration is 5 years. If the expiration date is 2009, he can have bought them and used them in 2004.

 Just checked my condoms... they expire in 5 years, but that doesn't mean they weren't on sale at the service station for a year or two.
