Although most people might not even know this but Cold Sores are an extremely mild case of herpes. But cold sores can be cured thats why they are a mild case of it. yes you can get STDs without intercourse. you can get it through oral sex and if someone had an mouth infection due to an STd it could be passed on so be carefull

Unless his penis comes into contact with your mouth or vagina, then no you can't get any STD's I think. So that means basicaly if you have sex or oral sex you run the risk of geting it. Best thing to do is to always use protection, and each get a STD check up if you have been sexualy active before.
