I know not about the others. The truth is it's possible to someone but impossible to the others. Love is not a bag of salt or sugar which you can measure its weight. It's emotion, sentiment which is intangible. I agree that feeling's built up day by day and just one day you see the feeling gets already so high and that's when you call that you're in love. To me, i've been with me fiance over a year now but i just started feeling "love" toward him in the ninth month. That moment, i just realised. So feeling must've been built up in 8 months and it turned out a signal afterward or something made him suddenly swept me off me feet at that moment. Who knows! Emotion is unexplainable. And also complicated as sometimes i have a feeling of doubting if i really love as i had a big knot from my past which not long ago made me thought i could never love again. Personal issue!

It happens in the movies all the time, the main characters suddenly realize they are in love at the end of the movie, but in real life I just can't see it happening. You can't be so out of tune with your own emotions not to realize you are falling in love.

Yes, it happens all the time, and you don't notice it until you're sucked in deep. Often in those situations you don't know it yourself, but all your friends will tell you that you must be in love, or that you act different around this or that person, or that the way you talk about them is special. Without you even noticing it yourself.
