Surely all of you have heard of the "if you have a dream that you fall(e.g off a cliff) and u hit the bottom you die in real life" which is why you always wake up.Well i also heard one goin about when i was younger that if you dreamt that your teeth fell out or something that something bad would happen? Is this true. Because recently i have been having them, i;ve had about 2 in the past month or two and also one a while back that one did come out but to be honest that tooth was the false one ive had since i was 14 and at the time it was loose. But seriously i know people say it but was it ever true? Reply to this Question Share |

As someone who has died in a dream before, don't worry, you won't die in real life if you are a healthy person (as some people mentioned heart problems can maybe be an issue for some people). The mind has it's own ways of working out the very rare mess of dying in a dream. As for the teeth thing, I've had dreams about that too, and nothing bad came of it. It's probably just anxiety.

Life and death is not in our hands.
We cannot say with absolute certainty that you will not die in real life if you dream of falling off a cliff.
It could be a bad omen or it could mean other things or it is just a bad dream.
The only advise we can give you is to be extra careful and vigilant when you cross the road or don't do any dangerous stunts in your everyday life.

Sometimes, God or other spirits talk to you in your dreams. I won't say that all dreams are just dreams and nothing else.
Sometimes ,those dreams can foretell the future or something that is about to happen. That person may feel troubled by those dreams. It could be an omen.
Most dreams are mostly your jumbled up imaginations played by your sub conscious mind.
The action of falling down a cliff may not mean some other thing.
According to this site, to dream that you or someone falls off a cliff, suggests that you are going through some difficult times and are afraid of what is ahead for you.
You fear that you may not be up for the challenge or that you cannot meet the expectations of others.

Dreaming that your teeth are falling out is a sign that you're feeling insecure or doubting yourself. It's not a prediction of the future; it just means that you're worried about being embarrassed in public or being insecure.
I had that dream right before a tournament, it was my first one and I was afraid I'm make a fool out of myself but I wound up getting a sparring trophy.
I've never had the falling dream, as far as I remember, but I have often dreamt that I was being murdered.
This doesn't sound stupid. I'm glad you asked because people need to know this.
If you're having frightening dreams, you might be suffering from anxiety. What's going on in your life? You need to examine that. Perhaps it would help to talk to someone.

I've never had the falling dream, but I've dreamt that I was murdered. I woke up before I actually died, but my heart was racing. I think that anxiety is behind these dreams.

dreams dont come true. There things your mind create, it cant hurt you physically.
Dont worry, maybe because youre stressing and thinking about it, youre dreaming it =D

If you are in a deep dream and fall from a great height and hit the ground, you will notice that your heart beat increases dramatically, causing you to not only wake up but jump.
I believe its possible to die when you hit the ground, not by the dream itself but certain heart conditions can cause issues by the massive and sudden increase in heart rate which instead cause your heart to stop. But other than those specific conditions there isnt a risk in dreams.
So I wouldnt worry.
I've had the falling dream, teeth and the worst of them all was the heart attack.
Sleep easy.

I like this question lol. Quite a simple answer though. Its not possible to die in your dream. You will always wake up before you die. Simple as that. Only exception is that if you were old, frail and had heart problems, the fear created by the moments before death would possibly cause you to have a heart attack; then you'd probably died before you got to die in your dream. And as for bad things happening being linked to dreams, dreams are caused by random brain activity linked to your subconscious. So if you think of bad things or really specific things happening, especially prior to sleep, it is likely that you will have a dream that is also bad or linked. I hope this helps.

There are many psychological theories suggesting the purpose of dreams and what they mean. i always have the dream that my teeth are falling out or crumbling in my mouth and when i wake up i have to quickly check my mouth because it feels so real. But nothing bad has happened as a result of these dreams. some dream books say that dreaming about your teeth falling out is an indication that you are worrying about money but at the end of the day dreams are just your imagination working over time as far as im concerned. You really do not need to worry at all!! nothing bad is going to happen to you as a result of these dreams!! stop worrying xx
