well if you are not sure of a medical condition it would be best to call the doctor
but yes you can be in labor if your water has not broken.

For the love of God, get off the internet and into the hospital!! The human body is a crazy thing, it's speaking to you and you should listen to it! You will only find doctors who can diagnose you at the hospital, not on Dear Cupid!!
Congratulations and good luck!

Please go see your doctor or go to the hospital. Yes, its very possible that you could be in labor. In my first pregnancy I was having really strong contractions for hours but my water actually didn't break until 45 minutes before the baby came.... Sometimes the water doesn't even break and the doctors have to break it. You don't say how far along you are? There's no way that any of us could know even if you stated how far you were. Its always better to be safe than sorry. GO!
