I just have a simple question: I started taking birth control pills recently accompanied by moderate nausea in the mornings. If I take some pepto-bismol, will it help? Can it affect the effectiveness of the pill?

supermum agony auntpepto-bismal wont affect the effectiveness of your pill, but as superrrshawna says, get your doc to change your pill, possibly to an oestrogen only one

superrrshawna agony auntit shouldn't affect the pill, but you might want to get in touch with your doctor and switch pills. have you tried yaz? that was what i used when i was on the pill and i had no side affects at all... except for the fun grow-a-bra-cup-size part.
