Virginity is determined physiologically by the hymen which is a membrane that partially covers the vagina. However, some women are born with a torn hymen or even with non at all so their virginity could not be defined by this.
If, while 5, she was sexually molested by any sort of penetration, then this hymen could have braked thus she would not be, physiologically, a virgin (although natural reconstruction could be possible in her case). However, virginity means you had sexual intercourse and she did not endure this as it was not her choice. Therefore, by all means, she should be considered and consider herself a virgin.
Hope that helps.

More info needed.
Sexual is defined as way more but not necessarily including sex.

While medically a girl could not be considered a virgin (for example because the hymen may be destroyed), the girl can still say she is a virgin because she did not choose to have sex of her own consent.
